A Market for Maple Road – This Saturday

We have been aware for some time that the council was negotiating with a group of market stall holders who want to trade from Maple Road.   We did not want to publicise this until the details were confirmed.   However, half a dozen stall holders have said they will start trading from Maple Road this Saturday, 3rd September.   At this time we do not know what the range of stalls will be, but we have been told they are “traditional” stall holders rather than the Farmers’ market of the previous attempt.

The council hopes this may kickstart other stall holders into applying.  The council will only invest in advertising once a market gets going, so we need to spread the word.
