Puiblic Consultation Meetings

The council has put out the folloiwng statement:

Tough choices – we want your views

In November we will be holding our annual public meetings titled ‘Tough choices – we want your views’ to talk and listen to local residents and businesses about the difficult decisions that need to be made as we set the budget for 2012-13. The dates and venues have been chosen on the basis of availability and to avoid clashes with the Council’s PDS/portfolio meetings. We want to encourage as many people as possible who live and work in the borough to come along and tell us their views and if you can help publicise these events through your surgeries or networks it would be much appreciated. As with last year, as well as the evening meeting we will hold a daytime public meeting at the Civic Centre. I will be sending you leaflets and a poster next week but wanted to let you know the dates and details as early as possible for your diaries.

The meetings are as follows:

Tuesday, 8 November Civic Centre 11am – 12.30pm

Thursday, 17 November Orpington Methodist Church 7.30 – 9pm

Wednesday, 23 November Civic Centre 7.30 – 9pm

Monday,  28 November  Citygate Church, Beckenham, 7.30 – 9.00
