Planning Applications in Green Lane

Two planning applications will be determined at a Planning Committee meeting next Thursday 29th September.

Once tipped for our new Library, could Edginton's become a gym?

11/01811 is for the conversion of 46 Green Lane into a gym. The planners report does not come up with a definite recommendation – members views are requested.

11/01986 is for the conversion of 44-45 Green Lane – Demolition of existing buildings and erection of a 3 storey building for mixed use development comprising 2 commercial units (Classes A1, A2, A3, B1 and D1) with 9 residential units above, including associated cycle and refuse storage and 9 parking spaces. The planning report is recommending permission.

Members of the public can speak at Plans Sub-Committee meetings on planning reports, contravention reports or tree preservation orders. To do so, you must have · already written to the Council expressing your view on the particular matter, and · indicated your wish to speak by contacting the Democratic Services team by no later than 10.00am on the working day before the date of the meeting – Wednesday 28th September. . These public contributions will be at the discretion of the Chairman. They will normally be limited to two speakers per proposal (one for and one against), each with three minutes to put their view across.
