Kathy Bance was successful in supporting local residents’ views that the proposed development of 44-45 Green Lane, SE20 7JX of 9 residential units, 2 commercial units, cycle and refuse storage and 9 parking spaces would be an over development and intensification of the site.
Planning permission was refused and we look forward to a more acceptable planned development being put forward in the future.
The proposed gym at 46 Green Lane is a separate planning application with no connection to the above application and this was deferred pending a review of the Transport Strategy document which was only circulated at the meeting. We ask you to contact us with your views to this application. Views already put forward are that a gym would be a welcome addition to Penge providing the parking and access issues are resolved.
