We were successful in supporting residents’ objections to the conversion of 44/45 Green Lane, currently an electrical wholesaler, into 9 flats. The main concern was the effect of the extra parking on people living in Cottingham Road. We have now heard that the developers are appealing against the council’s decision. The final judgment will now be made by a government inspector.
The application to turn the ground floor of the former Edginton’s store into a gym will be determined on Thursday October 27th. The main consideration will again be the lack of provision for parking. The applicants have claimed that gym users will be directed to the car park in the Blenheim Centre.
