Gas Works return to High Street

The remaining gas connections at the junction of High Street and Oakfield Road will be carried out next week and will necessitate the use of temporary three way traffic signals. We had insisted that the remainign works were deferred to the school holiday period to reduce congestion.   The nearby pedestrian signal is also heavily used by school pupils.

SGN realise the work has to be completed before the schools resume.
