Alleyway clearance for Maple Road

The alleyway off Maple Road, near to the Police office has become a target for fly tippers. It has become increasingly unsavoury. Although the alleyway is not council owned, we have asked the council to improve the situation.

As a result, the council has decided to get Operation Pay Back (community sentencing) to the clear the existing waste. I believe this has been done before at this site.

CCTV will then be installed to see if we can gain any evidence of the source of the problem.

Unfortunately these un-owned alleyways are never easy to deal with. Hopefully the CCTV will yield some results this time and we can take some action that will deter future incidents.
