Change at the top for Bromley Police

The Bromley Borough Police Commander is on the move after leading our local force for 5 years.  Charles Griggsis a local resident and was appointed to the post when confidence in the local police performance was low.  He was worked hard to change that perception and Bromley remains one of the safest places to live inLondon,   In particular, Cmmr. Griggs worked to preserve the size of our local Safer Neighbourhood Teams.   We join in thanking him for all his efforts on our behalf and wish him well in his new posting in Southwark.

A piece of local news, Jenny Coleman, Chair of our Penge & Cator Safer Neighbourhood Panel which liaises with our local SN Team, has joined the committee of the Bromley Community Engagement Forum.  The BCEF meets every couple of months as a police consultation body.   Jenny’s role will be to liaise with local SNTs.
