Action over cars ignoring the Royston one-way system

The junction at Clevedon Road

People living in Clevedon Road have approached us with their concerns over the number of cars that are ignoring the one-way system set up on the Royston Estate.   A number of people have reported near misses.   Vehicles should not be travelling down Clevedon Road towards the High Street but some are ignoring the signs.    So far, we have persuaded the council to make the signage clearer but residents are asking for more work such as a projecting pavement to stop cars travelling the wrong way.   We will take up their suggestions with the council
