Extra flats for Oakfield Road

In another decision just announced, a Planning Inspector has approved plans for 3 extra flats to be built above Grove Court in Oakfield Road.   The original application had been refused by a council planning committee because of the effect of the development on the character and appearance of the area and on the living conditions of neighbours.   The Inspector was not convinced by these arguments and has approved the application.

Hi – does anyone know more about these new flats? Is this definitely happening and are there plans / visualisations that can be viewed anywhere? Cheers

    • They have received planning permission to add an extra storey to Grove Court, which is on the corner of Oakfield and Laurel Grove. Planning Permission is only the first stage. As far as we know, the plans have not progressed beyond that.
