Planning application refused for cab office in Croydon Road, approved for flats in Lennard Road.

Thursday at Planning Committee saw a number of Penge and Cator items on the agenda. At 1 The Parade, Croydon Rd, an application for a cab office in part of the Internet Cafe was refused due to concerns about traffic.  An application for 4 one bedroom and 1 two bedroom flat at the former care home known as Homelands at 101 Lennard Rd was approved.  Two applications from Sydenham Scrap Metals in Burnham Way on the Kangley Bridge Rd Industrial Estate were refused due to concerns raised with regard to over 400 complaints about noise from this site. Council officers are now preparing a report on enforcement action.
