Extension to New Beckenham Station Car Park Deferred

The planning application by the London Borough of Bromley to extend the New Beckenham Station Car Park by 66 spaces was deferred last night at a meeting of the Plans1 sub committee.  Peter Fookes argued that residents concerns re appropriate security/screening were not being addressed.  Much of the site has already been cleared of vegetation.  There are also concerns about flooding in the area as the underpass linking Lennard Rd to Copers Cope Rd is often difficult to negotiate.  We will keep you informed of further developments.
