Planning Application for new medical clinic in Oakfield Road

A Planning Application is being considered to convert the former Penge Clinic, 17-19 Oakfield Road.   The proposal is for the demolition of the old clinic and erection of a two storey building (with accommodation space ion the roof) for use as a medical centre and associated pharmacy together with the closure of existing vehicular access, creation of a new vehicular access to Oakfield Road, 10 car parking spaces, cycle parking and refuse facilities.  The new facilities would be for the Park and Dr Hazra practices which both need new, improved, premises.  The application can be viewed here.

Leave the Penge Clinic building intact, if housing is taking place then build within those walls of the gorgeous place. I would admire the place when I went before wondering about living in a house like that. All other builds could still take place around it and resident could live in it. why are you demolishing? I don’t even like to entertain the word.

    • Hello Sarah – Planning allocations have to follow the planning laws so this is not the right forum to make your feelings known. If you notice planning applications you need to respond immediately to LBB so that all objections are discussed at the planning committees. Please feel free to email any of us to discuss in detail.
