Reverend John Taylor says Goodbye but not Farewell

Reverend John Taylor will be marking his retirement from Penge Congregational Church in the High Street at the end of the year with a Church Service and party on Sunday afternoon (24th)  at 3-00pm.  John and his wife Julie, have been active members of the local community over the last 15 years.  John has been involved with Royston School, the sea cadets, Men’s breakfasts, Penge Forum,  the Crystal Oasis Lunch Club as well as Penge Churches Housing Assocation amongst doubtless many other organisations too numerous to mention here. Not to mention his aid work overseas in India and his part in the wider Congregation movement across the world.  Julie has run the local brownies throughout this time and ably assisted John throughout his periods of ill health.  We wish them well in the future as they look for a new home in the local area and thank them for their valued contribution to Penge life.
