Full Planning Consent Granted for Kent Cricket Site in Beckenham

Development Control Committee last night approved the fine details of the previously granted scheme for 48 detached houses, a 2000 seater stand, an indoor cricket training centre, a multi function sports facility, a health and fitness centre and conference centre at the Kent County Cricket ground site in Worsley Bridge Rd.  It is hoped that first class cricket will be back at the venue by 2015 after a lease agreement for the next 20 years was entered into by Kent County Cricket Club and the Leander Group, the owners of the site.

Hi do you know why the Council are reviewing the Kent House Tavern licence again? It’s been closed for months so I’m puzzled at this.
