Oakfield Centre Back at Plans on Thursday

The planning application from London and Quadrant Housing Association is back at a meeting of Plans 1 on Thursday evening at 7-00pm. This is for the former Oakfield Centre in Oakfield Rd which was an adult training centre for adults with mild learning difficulities. The proposal is for 6 x 3 bedroom, 2 x 4 bedroom houses and 9 x 1 bed flats with 15 two bedroom flats. We think that this is too many and the committee agreed with Kathy Bance when it was on the agenda before Christmas. The site is owned by Bromley Council. Unfortunately, it appears that L and Q do not and are taking the application to appeal for non determination. Members are being asked to agree as to whether to contest the appeal.
