Labour hold Penge and Cator and take 4 more seats on Bromley Council

On behalf of Kathy Bance, newly elected Kevin Brooks and Peter Fookes as well as retiring Councillor John Getgood, we would like to thank the residents of Penge and Cator for their overwhelming support in the local elections yesterday in Bromley.  We were returned with increased majorities of over 1200 votes.  Labour also gained two seats in Crystal Palace ward with Angela Wilkins and Richard Williams elected as well as two in Clock House with success for Vanessa Allen and Ian Dunn.  Across Bromley, the Lib Dems were wiped out while UKIP gained two seats from the Conservatives in Cray Valley West. The count which went on until 6-00pm took place at Bromley Civic Centre.  The full make up of Bromley Council is now Tories 51, Labour 7 and UKIP 2.
