Wickes and Toolstation Coming To Anerley

Planning permission was recently granted for alterations to the former What warehouse site in Anerley Station Rd opposite the station itself. The application was submitted by Travis Perkins and will see 40 new jobs (25 full time equivalent) created as well as an acoustic fence, new landscaping and 50 car parking spaces. The businesses will see the supply of building products and tools to both the retail and trade customers. This site has had various retail uses with older residents recalling the former Booker Cash and Carry that operated here. Work on the site is expected to be completed by February of next year.
