Stop Press – 24 Hour Mini Cab Office Application Refused

The planning application for a 24 hour mini cab office at 208B Kent House Rd was refused tonight at a meeting of the Plans 1 sub committee.  We successfully argued that this would impact on residential amenity in the neighbouring roads with at least 4 extra cabs in the area.  This particular type of application is probably suited to a railway station rather than being housed in a residential area.  As per the Fennies application, Edencare do have the right to take this to appeal to a planning inspector.
