LBB Car Park Statistics – Penge East & Lennard Road

As result of complaints from residents on the number of cars parked in local streets while LBB car parks appeared empty, we posed a question to the Council Meeting on 8 Dec 2014.

Please advise the annual revenue and cost of operation for each of the Borough’s car parks in the Penge and Cator Ward.  Which of those are full to capacity on a regular basis?

Reply:

Penge East Total Income £16,758.23 Total Costs £10,035.65 Net Income £6,722.58

Lennard Road total Income £21,202.17 Total Costs £8,055.65 Net Income £13,146.52

Penge East is usually about 70% full during the week, low usage on Saturdays but is at full capacity when there are major events in London e.g the Lord Mayors Show.

Lennard Road is at full capacity on weekdays but has little use at weekends.

If you have any issues with the response or future questions please let us know.
