Betting shop Planning Application – Coral 119 – 121 High Street Penge London SE20 7DW

A Planning Application No. 14/00888/GABETO has been submitted and is an application for a new premises licence – GAMBLING ACT 2005.

This is the former Barclays Bank building for the premises to operate as a Betting (Other).

There will be a poster which is required to be displayed on the premises or see the public notice in the local paper.

Local residents may make representations now based on the information contained in the poster or newspaper.  Objections must be made by 16th January 2015.

Representations must be based on one or more of the 3 Licensing objectives:-
*   Preventing Gambling being a source of Crime and Disorder
*   Ensuring Gambling is conducted in a fair and open way
*   Protecting children and other vulnerable persons from being harmed or exploited by Gambling

If there are no representations the application will be granted in full.

If valid objections are received the application will be referred to a Licensing Sub-committee for a hearing within 4 weeks of the end of the objection period. If Ward Councillors are not available to attend a hearing during this time please advise me as soon as possible.

All valid representations will form part of a committee report, your representation will become a public document. The committee report will be uploaded to our Bromley website and will be searchable online.

It will also be given to both the applicant, his agent and any other party requesting a copy as well as the Licensing Sub Committee 10 days prior to the hearing.  Whilst your representation cannot be made anonymously we can, if requested, remove your name and your details leaving only your postcode in your representation.  Please request to be anonymised when making a representation and we will make the amendments.
