Parking Review Torr, Cottingham, and Kingsdale Road

At the request of residents in the above roads, we are conducting a survey to establish whether there is a clear cut decision on whether or not to ask LBB to install a CPZ (Controlled Parking Zone). A consultation was carried out about 4/5 years ago by LBB officers and that resulted in a marginal decision on not to go ahead. However, most of the residents did not vote at all. Since the opening of Lidl and the busier high street residents have been asking for another review to see if the mood had changed to favour a CPZ.

We have agreed to carry out the survey as it is not something LBB are prepared to do again.
We are encouraging households make a decision, For, Against, or Have no Preference. That way the majority of the residents will be satisfied with the outcome of the review. LBB will make the final decision.

We have had several door knocking sessions but a large number of residents have not been home so we will follow up with them via a letter.

If you live in these roads and not voted please let us know asap.
This a one vote per door number.

The close of the survey is Monday, 27 April 2015 when we will send the report to LBB.
