Penge Whistles for the Somme

At 07.15 this morning Penge commemorated the 100th Anniversary of its fallen at the Somme.  Second Lieutenant Chris Dreyfus of the Army Cadets organized the event with Rev. Nigel Poole conducting the remembrance.

Penge Army, Air and Sea Cadets read out the names of our Penge residents who died or were injured at the Battle of the Somme.  Many residents and Traders attended the service.
