Update on Crystal Palace Roadworks

Update from Ben Howard

UKPN have finally had some success and have repaired three faults within their current excavation. They have advised that all works will be complete and lights down towards the middle of next week, with no immediate further works planned.

UKPN have advised that the cable line does need replacing along the High Street at some point and that they will request for this to be re-newed, however as this isn’t urgent, it will be some time before these works are programmed (I’ve been quoted possibly 1-2 years away). If UKPN do go ahead with any replacement works, I will of course let you know and will aim to get these programmed out of school term times when the roads are traditionally more quieter.
