A Message From Chris Hafford

You will all have heard about the tragic incident this afternoon in Westminster and many of you will have seen or heard the press statements given.

Although most of us in Bromley will not be directly affected by the incident, we welcome any support you can give us in dealing with this incident, in particular if you know of anyone who has any information about the incident to contact the police at the number below – 0800 789321
I have included below the text of the original press statement by Commander Harrington although since this we have heard there are a number of fatalities, including a police officer. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who have lost their lives or been injured in this incident, including their families.

Locally we have increased our patrols at transport hubs and other crowded places and we have also sent officers into central London to assist in the immediate vicinity of the incident. You will see more police officers on patrol in the next days as we seek to keep Londoners safe.

Regards

Chris
