13 Storey Development Refused in Bromley

A planning inspector has upheld a decision by Bromley Council to refuse a 13 storey development at the site of the former Bromley Conservative Club (pictured below) in Elmfield Rd due to the impact on neighbouring residents on the Palace Estate. The proposal comprised of two floors of commercial space with 69 flats on the remaining levels. A previous scheme for 16 floors was also rejected.
